My wife and I recently bought a house. There was an old CPI equipment in the house when we bought it. A sales rep, David Dimartino, showed up to confirm if the equipment was still in the house. Sooner than you can say no, he was already inside our house touching door knobs and panels inside our house wihout any PPE. When I asked him to wear a mask and remove his shoes, his reply was that he had been tested and he would leave the house in two minutes. His visit was completely unnecessary, he overstayed his welcome, and he pitched a terrible deal. We received on the mail better offers from simplisafe and ADT, both more comprehensive and at least 40% cheaper. This was a really intrusive visit and I hope to never see this man near my house again. CPI, please don't use your client database for door to door visits without any PPE, or even better, don't show up at all in the middle of a pandemic with cases on the rise.

When I had the camera installed in my kitchen area - the installer never checked with me to see if the view from the location was acceptable. So the only thing I could really see was my kitchen and no entrances. I called and was told they would charge me to come out to change location. Fast forward a couple years and trying to cancel services have taken 2 days and Im still not getting through. Ive called and entered prompt to get a call back and no one calls back. Then I got ahold of customer service but they had to sit on hold and said they couldnt stay on the line anymore and said they could let me sit on hold with the dept that can close accounts. This is rediculous.

I would have posted no stars if I was given that option. They have bamboozled me into paying over 1,000 in fees with no justification. I've tried to bargain with them for months and now every time i cal "there is no one in that department." I've called 10 times for 7 consecutive days. PLEASE GO TO ADT
